The B22-SUB is a high-performance ultra-low frequency speaker designed specifically for ground stacking applications, featuring a bandpass box design and a built-in 2 * 18 “long stroke drive unit. It has characteristics such as high sound pressure level and wide frequency response, making it very suitable for any large sound reinforcement location. When the B22-SUB operates in INFRA mode, it can be used to compensate for other ultra-low frequency speakers by broadening the frequency response of the system. When using three or more B22-SUB ultra-low frequency speakers, they can be arranged into a heart-shaped bass array, which can achieve good directional control in the low frequency range and significantly reduce sound energy radiation towards the back of the speaker.
The speaker box is made of marine plywood material and coated with anti-collision paint on the surface. A solid metal protective mesh cover is installed on the front of the speaker, lined with acoustic foam. Each side panel of the B22-SUB contains four handles,. There are two cushion strips at the bottom of the box to protect the bottom plate from scratches. The two corresponding shaped grooves on the top plate of the speaker are used to accommodate these cushion strips, in order to prevent the box from moving during stacking and use.
